This shawl is inspired from a bridal hand-embroidered cushion (Wisadeh) from Ma’an, Jordan, ca 1910. The traditional embroidery is in Syrian silk threads using the couching technique unique to the area.

This is a collector’s limited edition 100% silk scarf.
