Stéphanie Saouaf studied Graphic Arts at Penninghen School in Paris, France. She drew a lot and practiced analytical drawing and nude sketching.
Passionate about images, Stéphanie turned to graphic design, she was art director for nearly 20 years, working in public and private sectors, in France and in Dubaï. At the same time, she continued to draw, with a predilection for black, alterning bright colors thus highlighting the contrasts.
She explores microscopy which requires great attention to detail and rigor. It’s with her “magnifying glass” eye that she gives us here an abstract, organic and very detailed universe, in which the unique motif is repeated infinitely, on different supports (paper and everyday objects). The drawings have different sizes: smaller (30x30cm) to larger ones (100x100cm).
